Job Description

The Part Time Transcription Quality Analyst plays an important role in delivering accurate, high-quality medical documentation by reviewing and editing audio-to-text transcripts for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with formatting standards. This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for detail and a passion for quality, as you will identify grammar, spelling, and contextual errors while helping transcriptionists strengthen their performance through clear, constructive feedback.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES
Complete team audits by verifying patient demographics, following established workflows, and finalizing reports within the transcription platform Review 20-25 reports using accurate medical terminology and sound clinical context Edit and correct reports to ensure accuracy, clarity, and completeness Proofread reports to maintain quality and consistency across documentation Apply appropriate templates to reports based on documentation requirements Support additional responsibilities as needed to meet team and business priorities Provide 25 daily feedback cases to Medical Transcriptionists to support quality improvement and development
EDUCATION DESIRED
High school graduate or GED certification
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently within tight deadlines Exceptional ability to follow both written and verbal instructions Experience working in an Ancillary or Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Outlook, and Teams Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time Must be able to work Monday -Friday 6:00 am -12:00 Eastern
