Typesetter The company is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Typesetter to join our team in Akron, Ohio. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text, images, and graphics for printed materials such as books, magazines, and advertisements. Your main goal will be to ensure that all text and images are visually appealing and easily readable for the target audience. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines. This is a full-time position suitable for freshers or those with limited experience in typesetting.

Responsibilities:

• Format and arrange text, images, and graphics according to design specifications
• Ensure consistency in font styles, sizes, and spacing throughout the document
• Proofread content for spelling and grammar errors
• Collaborate with designers, editors, and other team members to achieve desired visual results
• Use publishing software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress to create layouts
• Make necessary revisions based on feedback from clients or team members
• Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality work

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in graphic design or related field is a plus
• Proficient in publishing software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
• Familiarity with typography principles and design elements
• Strong attention to detail with excellent proofreading skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Good time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Salary:

This position offers a starting salary of $1600 per month.

This job is located at our office in Akron, Ohio. However, remote work options may be available depending on the candidate's location.
