Job Description

Overview Reports directly to the Social Media Manager, External Communications. Works closely with UF Health's communications team to plan, produce and publish content for UF Health social media channels. Generates social media planning calendars and coordinates with marketing and communications staff in scheduling for campaigns and events. Participates in campaign kickoffs and idea-generating sessions in support of social media campaigns for colleges, centers, institutes and research labs within UF Health. Responsibilities Identifies trending stories on social platforms and opportunities to tell UF Health's stories through those lenses. Reviews social sentiment about the organization and collects data for review.
This position will:
Keep social content continually rich and engaging Assist in adapting methods of delivering social patient-centered content based on analytics and audience reaction Research and communicate opportunities to use trending topics to reinforce our missions of empathy and wisdom Arrange planning and publishing calendars Observe social media sentiment for UF Health in the community Keep aware of current social media platforms, their use, and potential audiences Explore new social opportunities using new tools or platforms
Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
The ideal candidate: Possesses excellent decision - making skills and initiative Learns new tactics and new practices quickly Aligns tasks and workflows to meet time-driven deadlines Navigates and uses social networks easily Exhibits strong, error - free creative writing and/or photography skills Must have completed some college. Preferred majors include communications, public relations, journalism, and marketing. Motor Vehicle Operator Designation (Required) : (Refer to CP 1.51) Employees in this position: Will operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose as a "frequent driver" Will operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose as a "non-frequent driver" Will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose May operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose as a "frequent driver" while other employees in this position may operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose as a "non-frequent driver"
NOTE:
A frequent driver is defined as one who uses his/her personal or University of Florida Health automobile a) at least once daily, b) at least five individual trips per week or c) drives, on average, over 150 miles per week in the performance of his/her job. Please indicate the appropriate operator designation on the Request for Personnel (RFP) form at the time a RFP is submitted to post the position.
