Email Designer

Description We are looking for a talented Email Designer to join our creative team in Calabasas, California. This is a long-term freelance contract position offering an excellent opportunity to showcase your design expertise while contributing to the visual identity of a leading retail brand. In this role, you will collaborate with a dynamic team to create visually appealing and highly functional email designs that engage and inspire.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Design Lead to organize and maintain Figma files for optimal workflow efficiency.
• Ensure all newsletter assets are structured, scalable, and prepared for timely deployment.
• Create visually engaging email designs that align with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
• Manage version control and file updates to maintain consistency across projects.
• Work closely with the Creative Director, Project Manager, and other team members to execute design projects.
• Optimize design elements for usability and responsiveness across various email platforms.
• Develop innovative design solutions that enhance user engagement.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall campaign goals.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in email design.
• Provide regular feedback and suggestions for improving the design process. Requirements
• Proficiency in Figma, with proven experience in file organization and version control.
• Strong skills in email design and visual storytelling.
• 3-5 years of experience in design roles, preferably within the retail industry.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
• Familiarity with design software such as Asana and Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills to articulate design ideas and concepts.
• Knowledge of responsive design principles and email marketing best practices.
