Authority, Scope and Basic Function The Regional Architectural Promotion Specialist will be responsible for the achievement of the annual input targets (lunch & learns, entertainments, specifications, and calls) assigned by the Regional Sales Manager (in coordination with the Director of Sales) with the goal being the creation of qualified opportunities. Incumbent will execute direct promotion of architectural structures and their enclosures to the architectural community and be the company's primary point of communication to architects in the promotion phase. Essential Duties and Principal Responsibilities General Promotion and Knowledge Develop an annual call plan, in cooperation with the Regional Sales Manager, for the promotion and development of projects for architectural structures and their enclosures in the key target marketing areas you have been assigned. Plan should include a list of A, B, and C accounts with planned frequency and approximate dates of visits. Use the marketing database and other sources in developing the call plan. In addition, submit all new potential customers and results of promotion and inputs into Salesforce. Host regular lunch-and-learn events for architectural firms to promote Novum's architectural systems. Provide monthly trip planner to the Regional Sales Manager prior to travel activity. Within 3 days after a trip provide brief written summary on activities that took place. In addition, provide contact information for all new clients to be included in Salesforce. Maintain excellent working knowledge of the systems and services that Novum provides. Put on sales presentations to target architectural accounts, regional and local chapters of the AIA and other professional groups (ie. CSI), and/or other assigned groups (as needed and requested). Develop key architectural accounts, as targeted, making Novum their first call for service. Fully develop Class A accounts as determined by the company (I.e.: Gensler, HOK, etc.) Qualifications / Requirements Bachelor's degree in architecture, business administration, engineering or equivalent degree preferred and 2+ years of technical sales or promotion experience in the construction products industry. Proficiency in public speaking and ability to put on professional presentations. Creative thinker with ability to make decisions quickly and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Organized and highly detailed. Willingness to work within deadlines. Ability to travel extensively and manage time well. Ability to work within a team in achieving corporate growth goals. Use of basic computer tools and software (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email)
Pay:
$65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
