Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Architecture BIM Specialist to lead and support Building Information Modeling workflows across project teams. The role focuses on developing and maintaining BIM standards, Revit content and automation tools, facilitating coordination and clash detection, and advancing the firms use of digital design technologies to improve project quality and delivery. The ideal candidate combines strong architectural knowledge with technical proficiency in Revit, BIM management practices, and visualization and scripting tools.

Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement and maintain BIM standards, templates, families and libraries for architectural projects.

Manage Revit project setup and maintain file health, worksharing, and project parameters to ensure consistency and model performance.

Lead and participate in model coordination and clash detection workflows with project and consultant teams using BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud or similar platforms.

Create and maintain automated workflows, scripts and tools (for example PyRevit, DIRoots) to increase efficiency and reduce repetitive tasks.

Support and advise project teams on BIM methodology, best practices and contract deliverables, and provide QA/QC of BIM deliverables.

Collaborate with BIM Manager, design leads and technical staff to define project-specific BIM Execution Plans and deliverables.

Produce and enhance visualization and presentation materials using Enscape, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Cloud as needed.

Train and mentor staff on Revit, BIM tools and workflows, and organize internal knowledge-sharing sessions and documentation.

Evaluate and test new BIM and architecture-related technologies, plugins and integrations to improve office-wide workflows.

Coordinate with IT and software vendors regarding license management, updates and troubleshooting for Autodesk products.

QualificationsBachelors degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or related field; masters degree or equivalent experience a plus.

Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience working with BIM in an architectural practice, with demonstrated Revit project experience.

Deep proficiency in Autodesk Revit and a strong working knowledge of Autodesk product suite (BIM 360, Navisworks), SketchUp and Enscape.

Experience developing Revit families, templates, standards, and BIM Execution Plans.

Familiarity with automation and scripting tools such as PyRevit and DIRoots; basic Python skills preferred.

Experience with clash detection, model coordination and common data environment workflows.

Strong graphic and presentation skills using Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and other visualization tools.

Experience or interest in BIM management responsibilities and mentoring project teams; AIA membership or working knowledge of AIA contract deliverables is desirable.

Excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate technical workflows for design teams.

Certifications such as Autodesk Certified Professional (Revit) or equivalent are a plus.
