Hybrid - onsite and remote Responsibilities Responsible for leading and executing the sales strategy for lighting products and solutions. They work with clients, businesses, and organizations to offer expert guidance, build and manage key accounts, and achieve sales targets.Client Relationship Management:
Cultivate and strengthen relationships with existing clients, understanding their evolving lighting needs, and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling lighting products.New Business Development:
Identify and engage potential clients and industries that can benefit from lighting solutions. Create and implement strategies to expand the client base.Technical Expertise:
Possess in-depth knowledge of a wide range of lighting products, including LEDs, fixtures, controls, and emerging technologies. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements.Consultative Sales:
Provide comprehensive and tailored lighting solutions that align with clients' objectives, energy-efficiency requirements, and budget constraints.Sales Presentations:
Deliver persuasive presentations that showcase the features, benefits, and ROI of lighting products. Communicate complex technical details in a clear and concise manner.Proposal Development:
Prepare detailed, customized proposals that include pricing, product specifications, and project timelines. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proposal accuracy.Negotiation:
Skillfully negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure sales and meet or exceed revenue targets.Order Management:
Oversee the order process, including order placement, delivery coordination, and installation when applicable. Ensure client satisfaction throughout the process.Market Research:
Continuously analyze market trends, competitors, and customer preferences to identify and seize new opportunities.Sales Leadership:
Lead, mentor, or manage a sales team, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve collective sales goals.Networking:
Attend and actively participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to expand your professional network and generate leads.Reporting:
Generate regular sales reports that offer insights into your activities, market conditions, and progress toward sales targets. Requirements Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. 10 to 15 years of experience in lighting sales or a related field, with a successful track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Comprehensive knowledge of lighting products, energy-efficient solutions, and industry trends. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong technical aptitude to understand and explain complex technical details to clients. Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and leadership skills. Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software. Willingness to travel as necessary to meet with clients and attend industry events. This person will work throughout the Western Division which includes Tuscaloosa, Demopolis, Jasper, Winfield, and Haleyville.
