Skinning:
This job consists of properly tagging & skinning animals to prepare them for mounting. Also includes prepping skulls and horns for European mounts. Shop based work environment Responsibilities/Skills- Prepare specimens by skinning and preserving them for taxidermy
- Keen attention to detail
- Organizational skills preferred
- Knowledge of basic tool/knife etiquette
- Knowledge of basic safety procedures
- Respect for wildlife and ethical guidelines
- Able to keep a clean and sanitary work space
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment during hunting season
