We are seeking anEXPERIENCED
Tradeshow & Exhibit Production Manager with extensive hands-on experience in the trade show, exposition, or exhibits industry . This role is not for general event planners — we are looking for someone who lives and breathes the expo floor, understands installation and dismantle (I&D) processes, and thrives in the fast-paced, highly technical environment of large-scale exhibitions. In this role, you will lead the full management of expo and trade show projects , including overseeing I&D crews, coordinating resources, managing project timelines, ensuring quality control, and delivering flawless client experiences. You will serve as the on-site leader for production operations, directly influencing the success of each event.Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise trade show, exposition, and exhibit installation and dismantle operations , ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality. Direct and manage labor teams on the show floor, optimizing productivity and maintaining show standards. Collaborate with Account Managers to fully understand and deliver on client specifications and expectations. Coordinate with the Warehouse Manager for proper equipment preparation and allocation for each show. Work closely with venue personnel to ensure compliance with all facility rules and safety protocols. Provide clear direction, leadership, and problem-solving support to the on-site production team. Maintain strict quality assurance and uphold brand standards during all phases of production. Monitor, document, and report on project status, proactively identifying and resolving challenges. Implement and manage project adjustments to meet changing conditions on-site. Evaluate project results and contribute to process improvement initiatives. Lead multiple expo projects simultaneously in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.Required Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years direct experience in trade show, exposition, or exhibits production (I&D supervision, show floor operations, or related industry roles). Proven expertise in managing large-scale expo logistics from planning through on-site execution. 3-5 years of project management experience within the trade show/expo sector (or 5+ years in a closely related industry). Strong knowledge of project management principles, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Hands-on experience with industry-standard tools, equipment, and production techniques. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively under tight deadlines and changing conditions. Excellent client relationship-building skills with a service-oriented mindset. Detail-oriented, solution-focused, and highly adaptable. Ability to travel frequently and work non-traditional hours as dictated by event schedules.Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with industry-specific production software and CAD layouts for floor planning. Experience with permanent installations or large-scale branded environments.Why Modern Expo:
