Sound Mixer

We are seeking an experienced Production Sound Mixer for a non-union short film titled Othello'd. The film follows a young actor whose personal life collides with a scene he has been assigned in acting class. The script is heavily reliant on dialogue and takes place primarily in a classroom setting. Capturing exceptionally clean audio is the highest priority for this production. Applicants must provide their own complete sound kit. The kit must include a boom, lavaliers, and a reliable multitrack recorder. The shoot is a single day on Sunday, May 10 at CalArts in Valencia. Crew call is 9 AM with an estimated wrap time of 8 PM. Please list your specific gear package in your application notes.
