Real Ceilings works with General Contractors who Specializes in Tenant Improvement and New Construction. We provide Quality Installation, Responsible Project Management and Job Safety.
Apprentice/Installer/Mechanic Position:
Apprentice•Entry level, fully paid training. Company Provided tools upon milestones. Installer•This Position is the Secondary Step in a One-Year Training Program to Become a Top-Tier Mechanic Level Position. This is an On-The-Job Training Position and the Installer will be Expected to Learn the Mechanic Position Between Months Four and Twelve of a One Year Training Program. Training Consists of Assignment to Small Independent Projects for Complete Installation with Supervision by Superintendent. Mechanical Tools Provided Appropriate to Responsibilities Contributed by Candidate. Mechanic•The Mechanic is Responsible for the Safe and Quality Installation of Acoustical Ceilings in Class-A Commercial Offices. Responsibilities include Reading Drawings to Determine Layout of Ceiling Grid, Develop an Advanced Understanding of Various Standard and Specialty Ceiling System Installation Procedures, Pro-Active Identification of Obstacles and Resolution. This Position also Acts as Liaison between Installer and Superintendent.
Job Summary:
Work in the Interior of Commercial Buildings Installing Acoustical Ceiling Grid and Tile. Includes Hanging Wires, Applying Wall Mold, Properly Hanging Main Tees, Trapeze of Obstructions, Location of Elevations, Lay-In of Tile, and Knowledge of Acoustical Grid Parts and Pieces. We Increase pay based on Successful Completion of Apprenticeship, Demonstrated Skill Set, Experience, Accuracy and Speed. Coordination with General Contractor Regarding Other Trades and Schedule Timelines Execution of Leadership on a Crew Greater than Three (3) Employees Efficiently Train Manpower to a Competent Level of Skill in Relation to Experience Mastery of Trade Including Installation of Free-Floating Clouds, Verticals, and Specialty-Ceilings Achieve Basic Understanding of Installing Acoustical Ceiling Grid and Tile Acquires Familiarity for Hanging Wires from Structure by Hand or Mechanically Learns to Measure and Mark Surface According to Blueprints and Drawings Maintain and Position Equipment, Tools, and Material Build-Up and Break-Down of Equipment, Tools, and Material Stocking and Mobilization of Material Immediately after Delivery to Jobsite Demonstrates Continuous Dependability and Backing for Team on Jobsite Follow Safety Guidelines and Procedures Issued by Superiors Other Duties as Assigned by
