In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining acoustical ceiling systems across diverse commercial and residential projects. Duties Measure, cut, assemble, and install acoustical ceiling tiles and systems according to project specifications and schematics Read blueprints, schematics, and detailed drawings to ensure precise installation aligned with design intent Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently on construction sites Coordinate with project managers, electricians, plumbers, and other trades to ensure seamless integration of ceiling systems with electrical fixtures, plumbing, and other building components Conduct construction inspections to verify quality standards, safety compliance, and adherence to project timelines Apply caulking, trim carpentry, framing, and other finishing techniques to achieve a polished look Assist in fabrication and customization of ceiling components as needed for unique architectural features or restoration projects Qualifications Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on ceiling installation or related trades such as carpentry or drywall finishing Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings essential for accurate installation Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy equipment operation required on construction sites Knowledge of acoustical ceiling systems including suspension grids, tiles, and specialty materials like stucco or fabric panels Basic understanding of construction management principles including estimating, inspection procedures, and safety protocols Experience with related trades such as electrical work, plumbing integration, or masonry is a plus Ability to work at heights safely and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Join us in creating inspiring spaces where sound meets design!
