Description:
VOICES Boston is seeking a Sound Engineer / Audio Operator for our uing production of Matilda Jr.. This role will support tech rehearsals and performances by running sound cues and live mixing approximately 16 wireless microphones for a youth cast. This is a great opportunity for someone with theater audio experience who enjoys collaborative educational environments and working with young performers. Responsibilities Live mix approximately 16 wireless microphones during performances Run music playback cues Attend and support technical rehearsals and performances Conduct mic checks and basic troubleshooting Collaborate with stage management, music staff, and production team Schedule Monday, June 1: 4:00-8:00pm Tuesday, June 2: 4:00-8:00pm Wednesday, June 3: 4:00-8:00pm Saturday, June 6: 6:00pm show Sunday, June 7: 3:00pm show
Qualifications:
Experience with live theatrical sound preferred Familiarity with wireless microphone mixing Stronganizational and troubleshooting skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced youth theater environment
