Overview Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time Sound Engineer and bring your passion for audio and video production to life! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for capturing, mixing, and enhancing sound for various multimedia projects, ensuring high-quality audio experiences. Whether working on live events, filming sessions, or post-production editing, you'll play a vital part in creating engaging content that resonates with audiences. Responsibilities Set up and operate sound equipment for filming, live events, and post-production projects Capture high-quality audio during filming sessions, ensuring clarity and proper signal processing Mix and edit audio tracks using industry-standard software to enhance overall sound quality Collaborate with videographers and content creators to synchronize audio with visual elements Manage sound recordings during filming, including microphone placement and troubleshooting technical issues Assist in post-production editing using tools like Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or Avid to refine audio tracks Maintain and organize sound equipment, ensuring all gear is functioning properly and ready for use Qualifications Proven experience with sound engineering or related roles in multimedia production Familiarity with audio editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Knowledge of signal processing techniques to improve sound quality during filming and editing Strong understanding of videography principles and video production workflows Ability to operate various sound equipment including microphones, mixers, and recording devices Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills during live shoots or editing sessions Prior experience with post-production processes related to sound design and editing is preferred Embark on a rewarding journey where your technical expertise meets creative storytelling!
