The Lead Audio/Video Technician serves a vital role in ensuring excellence in worship and ministry presentation. This individual is responsible for mixing and balancing sound, operating audio/video systems, and supporting the technical production of worship services and events. The role includes setup, maintenance, and supervision of A/V equipment, as well as training and developing volunteers to serve in production ministry.Responsibilities:
1. Operate and balance sound for Sunday and special services using digital and analog systems 2. Set up, install, and maintain all necessary audio, video, lighting, and recording equipment 3. Support rehearsals, sound checks, and all assigned events from load-in to load-out 4. Research and recommend A/V technology upgrades 5. Train, schedule, and mentor production volunteers; actively recruit new team members 6. Maintain production inventory and report damaged or faulty equipment 7. Participate in weekly programming and production meetings, Bible study, and staff training 8. Assist with stage design and décor for events and productionsQualifications:
1. Member or willing to become a member of New Community Bible Fellowship 2. Proven experience and proficiency in sound engineering and A/V systems 3. Strong spiritual maturity and commitment to personal growth in Christ 4. Team player with professionalism, adaptability, and excellent communication skills 5. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle ministry matters with discretion 6. Demonstrates servant leadership and unity with the church's vision, mission, and valuesSchedule:
Full -time, including Sundays, weekday office hours (Tues-Fri), and select evenings for rehearsals and events (e.g., Elevate Nights, special services).Compensation :
