Job Description
Seeking an experienced Sound Mixer for a one-day documentary shoot in the Charleston, SC area. This shoot will be verité-style, following subjects in real-world environments and capturing natural dialogue and ambient sound throughout the day. The ideal candidate has strong documentary experience, is comfortable working with a small crew, and can adapt quickly to changing conditions while maintaining clean, professional audio. Responsibilities include providing and managing audio equipment, wiring contributors as needed, and ensuring consistent, high-quality sound capture throughout production. Prior verité documentary experience is strongly preferred. Please include your equipment package, relevant work samples or credits, and Charleston-area availability when applying.
