Yesterday Job Description OCSD is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Music Production Teacher to inspire and educate students in the art of music creation, beat-making, and audio engineering. This role involves teaching students the fundamentals of music production, sound engineering, digital audio workstations (DAWs), and industry-standard recording techniques. The ideal candidate will foster creativity while providing hands-on experiences that prepare students for potential careers in music production. Key Responsibilities ? Develop and deliver engaging lessons on music production, beat-making, and sound engineering. ? Teach students how to use digital audio workstations (e.g., FL Studio, Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Pro Tools). ? Instruct students on recording techniques, mixing, mastering, and sound design. ? Provide guidance on music theory as it relates to production and composition. ? Introduce students to industry standards and best practices in music production. ? Facilitate hands-on projects that allow students to create their own original music. ? Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback. ? Maintain an organized and professional learning environment, including managing studio equipment. ? Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support cross-curricular learning opportunities. ? Encourage students to explore careers in the music and entertainment industry.
