The ideal candidate​ would have experience in basic audio, with DJing and/or lighting experience being a plus.​ We hope that our next hire will have a positive outlook and want to be a part of this fun and relaxed work environment. Our preference would be for a mature individual who has a passion for music but knows when it's time to get serious. This is not a dull place to work, but the tasks can be somewhat tedious and require attention to detail. Silent Events is a wireless headphone production company. Job Responsibilities:

• Working with wireless headphones, transmitting equipment, cabling, and other audio equipment. The majority of the work within our warehouse will involve servicing wireless headphones, which consists of sanitizing, charging, audio testing and packing.
• Preparing equipment for shows and for shipments to be sent out to clients.
• Inventorying and testing the audio equipment when it returns back to our shop.
• Work with transmitters and frequencies
• Travel when assigned to produce events throughout the United States. On average 1 event is assigned to each sound technician every month. Gigs are paid based on show days, travel days, production days, etc. Between gigs, technician will work during our regular office hours of Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm in our warehouse to maintain and service equipment.

• Possibility of DJ'ing Required Qualifications:

• Familiarity of working with audio equipment and mixing sound
• Experience with or willingness to learn DJ software
• Ability to lift boxes and move cases
• Current resident of the Nashville area
• Must have a valid driver license and reliable transportation
• Complete a background check

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a fast-paced work environment
• Detail-oriented
• Prior experience driving a van and/or trailer (F-class a bonus)
• Travel experience
• Any prior experience working in the entertainment and/or event production industry is a plus!
