Personnel in this role contribute to the planning, coordination, execution, and sustainment of complex operations in dynamic and geographically dispersed environments. The position supports operational readiness, resource integration, mission effectiveness, and stakeholder collaboration while ensuring compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and security requirements. Duties are performed in support of contingency, expeditionary, and steady-state operations and may require coordination with Government personnel, mission partners, and cross-functional teams to achieve program objectives.
Position Overview/Functional Role :
This role develops and maintains training documentation, manuals, and instructional materials to support operational systems, platforms, and mission training activities. Translates technical information into clear, structured content suitable for classroom, on-the-job, and distance learning environments. Coordinates with subject matter experts and operational personnel to capture system functionality, procedures, and mission-specific considerations. Edits, formats, and standardizes documentation to meet Government requirements, including publication and distribution standards. Supports development of training products for demonstrations, exercises, and operational systems training, ensuring accuracy and usability. Produces and manages documentation repositories to ensure materials are accessible, current, and aligned with mission and stakeholder needs. Job Duties and Responsibilities The job duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: Work at various sites, both CONUS and OCONUS, with travel as required. Perform duties associated with the assigned functional role. Perform additional duties as assigned. Skill Level Requirements - Journeyman 3-10 years experience Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments. Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks. Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems. Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.
