Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in communications or appropriate comparable discipline or 3 + years technical writing experience. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with a variety of people and job functions. Has proficient computer skills in word processing and usage of collaboration related tools (Confluence, Flare, Sharepoint, etc). Pays attention to detail and sets high personal goals or standards of performance. Has basic project management skills and is able to determine a project timeline. Has developed organizational skills to prioritize workload and accomplish tasks to define project timeline Can generates creative solutions to problems and is open to trying different and novel approaches. Develops and maintains cooperative working relationships. Works in teams to reach project goals in desired format.
Basic responsibilities include:
Learning different aspects of the product development. Using learned aspects, creates process documents for performed tasks. Such as process description, work steps and inputs/outputs for given activities. Listening to identify tasks, who is responsible and generalizing these to an overall task list to clarify roles and responsibilities amongst groups & departments. Prepare training materials related to process documents to facilitate new employee learning Review created process documents/material with product teams, revise as needed then receive approval. Post and Maintain repository of process documentation Establish process documentation structure and guidelines
