This is a full-time position focused on product certification of innovative, groundbreaking building products. The position requires an understanding of building codes and standards. Strong analytical problem-solving skills and ingenuity are a must! Responsibilities Research building code requirements for product certification. Draft Technical Evaluation Reports (code compliance evaluation reports). Review and summarize test data for product evaluation. Review quality assurance and quality control documentation for completeness. Collaborate with engineers, product testing staff and operations teammates to serve customer needs most efficiently and effectively. Participate in continuing education regarding building code content, construction methods, industry trends, and customer products. Qualifications Required Excellent written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. A dedication to effective time management, budget tracking, and prioritization. Preferred Familiarity with building codes and standards. Knowledge of general construction practices. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. A Bachelor's degree (or several years of field experience) in construction management, technical communication, engineering, architecture, or a technical field that allows for effectively fulfilling the responsibilities of the position.
