OVERVIEW
This contract assignment serves as a Data Steward providing support to the Engineering Applications and Standards Organization. This division is responsible for providing subject matter expert engineering application services for high voltage, protection, communication, and control equipment as well as being stewards of the Transmission engineering policy and governance documentation. This assignment will provide professional data management and process tracking for multiple org assignments, projects, and initiatives. This assignment prepares, reviews, and edits documents such as standards, specifications, reports, and process documentation related to the organization's functions, and this assignment provides training and operations support to the Engineering Applications and Standards organization for management and utilization of the various divisional technical software and data infrastructure/systems. The ideal candidate for the assignment will be organized, self-directed and self-motivated, with a strong knowledge of automated data systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Be the primary point of contact and data tracker of Sulfur Hexafluoride (SF6) leaks and inventory on the corporate system Review and update project data in multiple project tracking systems. Create a monthly report to track SF6 data on the corporate system and provide them to the division manager and corporate environment Create a comprehensive yearly report for corporate environment to issue to various state and federal organizations to validate corporate compliance with environmental regulations Review project deliverables to verify all documents and data are included and complete. Document project deliverable processes and procedures. Review and document data archiving processes. Administer and manage the division's SF6 SharePoint Site. Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) support for the division's SF6 Tracking system. Create supporting documentation on the division's SF6 Tracking system Scan records for digital archiving. Assist corporate and division Policy and Governance in data tracking of inflight development of standards, construction specs and governance documentation Assist division organizations with data associated with Work Intake Tracking SharePoint sites Assist division organizations with tracking additions and subtractions to the corporate approved equipment list Develop and recommend business rules for data/information storage procedures. Create or implement metadata processes and frameworks. Assist division administrative assistant with booking travel both foreign and domestic Provide support for GSA fleet vehicles assigned to the division: Develop use cases to and/or utilize AI/DOE/Joulix/EnerGPT to identify inconsistencies, ambiguities, and suggest improvements within standards and specifications documentation for streamlining review processes. Download appropriate documentation to ProjectWise for use by internal corporate personnel and outsourced contractors and verify that the files in ProjectWise are kept in sync with primary files in SharePoint. Process Foreign visitor access and badging requests. Assist with contract submission requests by preparing paperwork. Assist division organizations with SharePoint team sites and updates of content as well as site reviews and permissions audits. Provide support to develop, plan, and conduct reviews of organization records and products; develop recommendations for improvement of division programs. Support the coordination of identification, collection and review of records and information required to meet regulatory or other obligations. Support identification and analysis of risks and issues in appropriately managing division recorded information; provide input on recommendations for resolution to corporate manager. Develop and maintain Nintex and other format forms, database tools, and applicable lists, libraries, portals, views, etc. for the division's organizations in support of organization programs. Project document control (receiving, filing, assigning tasks, collecting feedback and consolidating comments).
REQUIREMENTS
Education & Corresponding Experience Bachelor's degree in business management, logistics management, engineering or a related technical field is preferred. 6 months of experience is required. o Experience must include records management experience supporting construction, engineering, surveying, drafting operations, or a related field is required. The technical experience must be consistent with the specific requirements of engineering operations and progressively more technical in nature. Individual must be capable of applying a diversified knowledge of principles and practices in assigned technical areas. Requires a working knowledge of automated data systems. Required Technical Skills & Experience Experience and working knowledge of SharePoint, sufficient to enter and retrieve data. Experience and working knowledge of Bentley ProjectWise or similar document library database.
