Job Description

Job Description Island Psychiatry is seeking a board-certified psychiatrist for high-level forensic evaluation and report-writing work on a 1099 basis. This opportunity is ideal for a psychiatrist with strong clinical judgment, a professional temperament, and comfort with technology. This is intellectually serious work that is compensated at a higher compensation than typical clinical care . Prior forensic experience is not required . We are open to psychiatrists who are bright, disciplined, analytically strong, and capable of producing clear, organized, and defensible work. Training, structure, and a report-writing framework will be provided for the right candidate. This role offers the ability to do substantial professional work in a more flexible format, including remote report-writing, while building a valuable additional income stream outside of traditional patient-care hours.
