CONDITION REPORT WRITER

CrankyApe.com is NOW hiring a Condition Report Writer at our Michigan City, IN location. The Condition Report (CR) Writer will use a tablet to document and assess the vehicle's condition by inspecting vehicles and powersports for damage, missing parts and/or mechanical problems.

Essential Functions:

Conducting inspections of the condition of all of our incoming auction vehicles (such as cars, trucks, motorcycles, ATV's, boats, RV's, campers, watercraft, etc.). Evaluating the vehicle's quality and damages, as well as estimate needed repairs. Starting, running, and test-driving vehicles when applicable. Preparing condition reports or documentation of each vehicle's inspection using an iPad. Verifying VIN and document mileage, missing and damaged parts, the vehicle's key status, and any value-added features. Photographing and recording videos of vehicles. Answering questions about the vehicle from employees and customers. Move merchandise/units around warehouse yard, as directed. Help customers load and unload units with forklift or by hand. Performing other related duties as assigned or requested. Requirements Valid Driver's License with no tickets or offenses over the last 5 years Ability to tow/pull/move vehicles around Ability to occasionally lift up to 75lbs Must be dependable and show up for work on time Excellent grammar and spelling Must be able to use a computer proficient (copy, cut, paste, download)

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
