We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Contract (Up to 11 months with potential for extension)
Work Arrangement:
Onsite initially; transitions to hybrid (1 2 remote days)

Summary:
Write, edit, and maintain:
Operating Procedures
Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP)
Calibration Procedures
Installation Procedures
Test Requirements Documents (TRD)
Support document review, release, and approval processes using Windchill
Ensure compliance with configuration management and change control processes
Coordinate with engineering and production teams to gather and validate technical content
Review and select appropriate visual aids (drawings, diagrams, charts) to support documentation
Perform quality assurance reviews to ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with standards
Requirements:
Ability to obtain clearance
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Technical Communication, or a related field
6+ years of technical writing experience in aerospace, defense, or high-tech environments
Experience developing documentation for test equipment preferred
Proficiency with:
Microsoft Office Suite
Adobe Acrobat
PLM systems (Windchill required)
Familiarity with aerospace documentation standards (e.g., ECSS, MIL-STD)
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex engineering concepts into clear, user-friendly instructions
Working knowledge of change control and configuration management processes
Must be a U.S. citizen to comply with security clearance requirements.
