Required Qualifications:
Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position. Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, humanities, or technical writing. Three to five years of full-time writing experience (excluding the writing of web content and social media content). Advanced writing, editing, and oral communication skills needed for presentations, trainings, and meetings. Demonstrated experience in project management and collaborative endeavors. Exceptional attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in science, engineering, humanities, or technical writing. Five years of full-time grant writing experience. Demonstrated ability to understand and synthesize faculty research. Demonstrated experience developing, delivering, and evaluating trainings and workshops for professionals. Excellent interpersonal skills. Job Description Responsible for supporting the development and writing of high-quality, highly competitive proposals that are submitted to external agencies for sponsored funding. Job Duties Co-write and co-develop proposals for funding to be submitted to private and public sponsors. Create, co-create, and implement workshops and trainings in grantsmanship, in collaboration with Research Development colleagues and other campus stakeholders. Collaborate with campus stakeholders who support the research enterprise. Communicate clearly and openly with team members on shared workload to ensure coverage and eliminate duplicated efforts.
