Job Requirements Fairfax, VA Secret Polygraph Unspecified Career Level not specified Salary not specified Join Premium to unlock estimated salaries Job Description Job Description Program Overview The Army National Guard (ARNG) Enterprise Network Operations and Cybersecurity Support (ENOCS) program delivers comprehensive enterprise IT infrastructure, WAN, cybersecurity, and associated services to the ARNG and its mission partners. The program supports more than 120,000 users and 141,000 endpoints across approximately 2,800 sites spanning 54 states and territories, enabling Title 10 and Title 32 missions, domestic emergency response operations, mobilization readiness, and classified SIPRNet operations.

This position is contingent upon contract award. Task 2 - Enterprise Applications Support - delivers engineering, operations, and sustainment of enterprise software applications and IT capabilities supporting more than 120,000 users and 141,000 endpoints across approximately 2,800 ARNG sites nationwide. This task area ensures mission-critical applications remain current, secure, and aligned with evolving ARNG requirements by integrating innovation, emerging technologies, and continuous improvement practices into application lifecycle management. Position Summary ECS is seeking a Technical Writer - Journeyman to support the
ARNG ENOCS
program by developing and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation essential for enterprise application lifecycle activities. The selected candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that all documentation, including user guides, system design artifacts, and SOPs, are accurate, consistent, and adhere to government standards. This position is integral to the program's success, providing clear and precise documentation that facilitates effective communication and operational efficiency within the broader enterprise IT framework. Responsibilities Develop and maintain user guides, configuration documents, and system design artifacts. Create and update test plans, SOPs, release notes, and deployment packages. Apply document standards and version control to ensure consistency and traceability. Coordinate with engineers, testers, and stakeholders to capture accurate technical content. Support timely delivery of required documentation in alignment with program schedules. Ensure all documentation meets government standards and audit requirements. Implement configuration management practices to maintain document integrity. Contribute to the continuous improvement of documentation processes and standards.
Required Skills Required Qualifications Clearance:
Secret Eligible required S. Citizenship required Bachelor's degree in Writing and Editing Minimum of 18 years of experience in technical writing and documentation development Extensive experience creating SOPs, user guides, and system design documentation for federal agencies Proven expertise in developing technical documentation compliant with government standards Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance documentation PMP and ITIL Foundations certifications
