Job Description

About the Role Overtime is looking for a highly creative, social-first content creator who can bring ideas to life across graphics, video, and original content production. This role is first and foremost for someone who is exceptional at creating social graphics. You'll help power Overtime's leagues, franchises, athletes, events, and partner campaigns through best-in-class visual storytelling. Beyond graphics, you'll also be expected to shoot, edit, and produce original content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social platforms. The ideal candidate is a true hybrid creative: part designer, part editor, part producer, and fully obsessed with sports, internet culture, and social media. What You'll Do Social Graphics Design high-impact social graphics that support Overtime's leagues, franchises, tentpole events, athlete storytelling, and partner campaigns. Create social-first creative assets including stat graphics, schedules, rankings, announcements, highlight graphics, memes, carousels, branded content, and marketing assets. Maintain a high visual standard while ensuring all graphics are platform-native and optimized for engagement. Content Production Shoot, edit, and publish original social content across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, X, and emerging platforms. Produce content from concept to completion, including ideation, scripting, shooting, editing, graphic design, and publishing support. Edit a high volume of short-form content including highlights, behind-the-scenes content, interviews, mic'd up moments, podcasts, branded content, and event coverage. Creative Development Pitch creative concepts, social formats, and content ideas that can drive engagement, growth, and conversation. Stay on top of trends, platform updates, athlete storylines, and internet culture. Work closely with social strategists, producers, editors, and league operators to identify content opportunities. Quality Control Review content before publishing to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality. Sweat the details—from spelling and grammar to graphic design and final video delivery. Help maintain and evolve Overtime's creative standards across platforms. Who You Are 2+ years of experience creating content for social platforms, preferably within sports, media, entertainment, or creator ecosystems. Exceptional graphic design skills with a strong portfolio of social-first creative work. Deep understanding of visual storytelling, typography, layout, and platform-native design. Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and comfortable working within the Adobe Creative Suite. Experienced editing short-form video using Premiere Pro, CapCut, After Effects, or similar tools. Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, X, and emerging social platforms. Equal parts creative and execution-focused—you can generate ideas and bring them to life quickly. Obsessed with sports, internet culture, and social trends. Detail-oriented with strong quality-control instincts. Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple projects simultaneously. Collaborative team player who is adaptable, positive, and eager to learn. Bonus Points Motion graphics experience using After Effects. Photography or camera operation experience. Experience covering live sporting events. Experience creating viral social graphics and short-form content. Familiarity with athlete storytelling, sports media, and creator-led content.
