About Us We are a growing media company producing content for social media, YouTube, podcasts, websites, and client marketing campaigns. We are looking for a reliable Video Editor & Content Publisher who can take projects from raw footage to final delivery while maintaining high-quality standards and meeting deadlines. This position will begin on a contract basis with the opportunity to transition into a long-term full-time role for the right candidate. Responsibilities Edit short-form and long-form video content Organize and manage project files and digital assets Add music, sound effects, captions, graphics, transitions, and other finishing touches Perform basic audio cleanup and color correction as needed Publish content across YouTube, social media platforms, websites, and podcast platforms Schedule content releases and maintain publishing calendars Assist with content organization and asset management Deliver completed projects on schedule Collaborate with team members to implement feedback and revisions Ensure published content is properly formatted, optimized, and presented across platforms Maintain consistent quality standards across all projects Requirements Must be located in the Houston area and available to work on-site Local applicants only Experience with Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing software Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and editing fundamentals Experience editing content for social media, YouTube, podcasts, and digital platforms Familiarity with publishing and managing content across multiple platforms Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Reliable, professional, and able to follow established workflows Preferred Qualifications Final Cut Pro experience Experience editing interview-based, educational, or documentary-style content Familiarity with audio cleanup and color correction Experience publishing content to YouTube, websites, podcast platforms, and social media channels Basic graphic design or motion graphics experience Experience managing content libraries and digital assets What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to details, and can consistently deliver polished content on schedule.
