Do you enjoy working with a creative team, producing ads, and helping bring marketing ideas to life? If so, we would love to talk with you about joining our growing team. We are a digital marketing agency that helps chiropractors across the country grow their practices through social media advertising, content marketing, Google Ads, SEO, and online patient acquisition strategies. We are looking for a Video Editor & Creative Assistant who can work closely with our Creative Director to produce high-quality video ads and marketing content for our agency and our clients. This role is ideal for someone who is creative, organized, adaptable, and willing to help wherever needed as part of a growing team. About the Role The Video Editor & Creative Assistant will play an important role in helping our agency create compelling video content for paid ads, organic social media, client campaigns, and internal marketing. You will work closely with our Creative Director to edit videos, organize footage, create ad variations, and bring creative concepts to life. You will also help film content regularly in downtown Chicago with our agency owner. In addition to video-related work, this role may also support other marketing tasks as needed, such as scheduling Google Business Profile posts for clients and helping publish blog content. This role is best for someone who enjoys video editing and content production, but also understands that working at a growing agency requires flexibility, teamwork, and a willingness to jump in where needed. The Right Candidate Will Be creative and have a strong eye for video, pacing, storytelling, and visual quality. Be able to follow direction from the Creative Director while also bringing ideas to the table. Be comfortable assisting with in-person video shoots in downtown Chicago. Be organized and able to manage multiple video projects, deadlines, revisions, and priorities. Be detail-oriented and able to catch errors before content is published or sent to clients. Be adaptable. Priorities can shift quickly in an agency environment, and the right person can adjust without losing momentum. Be internally motivated and hard-working. We are looking for someone who takes ownership, follows through, and wants to be excellent at what they do. Be willing to help the team wherever needed, even when the task is outside of video editing. Responsibilities Edit video ads for our agency and clients across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and other digital channels. Work closely with the Creative Director to turn creative concepts, scripts, and raw footage into polished video content. Create multiple video variations for ads, social media, and campaign testing. Edit short-form video content for social media, including reels, vertical videos, promotional clips, and educational content. Add captions, graphics, music, transitions, calls-to-action, and other creative elements as needed. Review videos for accuracy, quality, pacing, branding, and overall effectiveness. Organize footage, project files, assets, and completed video exports. Make revisions based on feedback from the Creative Director, internal team, or clients. Assist with regular filming in downtown Chicago with our agency owner. Help prepare for shoots, organize shot lists, manage basic production needs, and support the filming process. Help schedule Google Business Profile posts for clients. Help publish blog content and assist with other marketing-related tasks as needed. Support the creative team and agency team with projects that help move client work forward. Qualifications Experience editing video content for social media, paid ads, marketing campaigns, or online brands. Strong understanding of short-form video, digital ads, and social media content. Comfortable editing vertical video formats for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. Ability to follow creative direction and apply feedback quickly. Strong attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once. Comfortable assisting with filming, production setup, and in-person content creation. Able to travel to downtown Chicago regularly for filming with our agency owner. Comfortable communicating with a team through virtual meetings and project management tools. Willingness to support non-video tasks when needed. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and desire to improve. Preferred Experience Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar video editing software. Experience creating video ads for Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, or other paid media platforms. Experience adding captions, motion graphics, thumbnails, hooks, and calls-to-action. Experience shooting video content or assisting with video production. Experience working with a digital marketing agency or creative team. Basic understanding of social media marketing and digital advertising. Experience with Google Business Profile publishing is a plus. Experience publishing or formatting blog content is a plus. Experience working with chiropractors, wellness brands, or service-based businesses is a plus. Location This is a Chicago-based hybrid position. While some work may be completed remotely, this role will require regular in-person filming in downtown Chicago with our agency owner. The right candidate must be able to travel to downtown Chicago regularly for video shoots, creative projects, and content production. You will also need reliable high-speed internet and a webcam for virtual meetings and remote work.
