Job Description

Project Overview We're seeking a highly agile, dedicated Event Videographer and Editor for a corporate event in Boston. The focus of this role is to capture the vibrant energy and key moments of the event using a "run and gun" style, and to produce authentic, fast-turnaround highlight reels. Scope of Services & Key Responsibilities On-Site Filming (2 Days): Serve as a dedicated, roaming videographer to capture dynamic b-roll throughout the event, including the opening reception.
Interviews:
Capture "Voice of Customer" and "Man on the Street" style soundbites from attendees.
Capture Style:
Raw, energetic, and authentic event highlight capture. You must be comfortable moving quickly and anticipating key moments without directing the action. Deliverables & Deadlines This project requires rapid post-production turnarounds. You will be responsible for editing and delivering the following: Day 1 (June 2): Create a quick-turn highlight reel of the first day's events. Must be delivered by midnight the same day, as it will be played for the audience the following morning. Day 2 (June 3): Create a comprehensive final highlight reel combining the best footage from both Day 1 and Day 2. Must be delivered within 24 hours of wrapping production on Day 2.
Final Delivery:
Share all footage via upload or hard drive to add to customers content library. Required Equipment You must be able to provide your own gear for this shoot, which should include: A professional roaming camera setup suitable for energetic, handheld/stabilized movement. An on-camera shotgun microphone for natural sound. Lapel microphone options (wireless preferred) for the "Man on the Street" interviews when on camera mic is not adequate.
Note:
No dedicated lighting setups are required or included for this role. You must rely on available light to maintain maximum agility on the floor. Qualifications Proven experience shooting events in a fast-paced, run-and-gun environment. Strong portfolio of event highlight reels demonstrating energetic pacing and quick storytelling. Ability to manage on-the-fly audio recording for impromptu interviews. Exceptional time management and editing skills to meet strict, same-day deadlines.
To Apply:
Please submit your reel, direct links to recent, relevant event highlight reels you have shot and edited, and your gear package.
