Videographer - Summit Media Group Summit Media Group is a real estate media company specializing in high-quality photo and video content for residential and commercial properties across the Metro Detroit area. We partner with real estate agents, brokers, builders, and developers to make their listings stand out — and we're growing our team. The Role We're looking for a talented Videographer to join Summit Media Group. Your primary focus will be shooting and editing property walkthrough videos, cinematic listing reels, drone footage, and other video content that helps our clients sell and lease properties faster. You'll also be expected to handle photography when needed — this is not a video-only role. If you're someone who can show up to a shoot, capture stunning video and photos, and deliver polished content, we want to hear from you. What We're Looking For Video is your strength, but you're comfortable behind a camera for stills too. You understand how to shoot and edit compelling real estate video — smooth movement, proper exposure, clean audio, and a polished final product. A background in real estate, residential, architectural, or commercial video is strongly preferred, but candidates with strong videography experience in other areas are encouraged to apply. We'll train you on our workflow and style, but you need to come in with a real foundation. Beginners will not be considered. We're also looking for someone willing to obtain their FAA Part 107 drone license — aerial footage is a core part of what we deliver to clients, and we'll fully support you through the certification process. Requirements Demonstrated, hands-on videography experience with a portfolio or reel to back it up (required with application — no reel, no consideration) Ability to shoot and edit professional property walkthrough videos and listing reels Solid photography skills — you'll be handling both on many shoots Proficiency in video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar) Willing to obtain FAA Part 107 drone license (we will assist with the process) Reliable, punctual, and professional — our clients are agents and developers on tight timelines Able to work independently and manage multiple shoots per day when needed Nice to Have Prior real estate, architectural, or commercial videography experience Existing drone experience or FAA Part 107 certification Proficiency in Lightroom or Photoshop for photo editing Experience with gimbal operation, slider work, or other cinematic techniques Familiarity with color grading and audio mixing Experience working directly with real estate agents, builders, or property managers How to Apply Submit your resume and portfolio or reel to info@summitmediahq.com.
