Job Description

Dance Connection is seeking a tech-savvy and detail-oriented Recital Media Coordinator to assist with photo and video uploads during our recital weekend at CM Performing Arts Center. This is a great fit for someone who is comfortable working independently with media files, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Premiere Pro, Vimeo, Zenfolio, and Google Docs. The role does not require advanced video editing, but does require someone who is organized, focused, and confident working with photo and video workflows.
Location:
CM Performing Arts Center 931 Montauk Highway Oakdale, NY 11769
Schedule:
Saturday, June 13 — 12:00 PM-7:00 PM Sunday, June 14 — 12:00 PM-9:00
PM Pay:
$450 flat fee Responsibilities include: After each performance, the Media Coordinator will collect SD cards from the photographers and upload the photos to Adobe Lightroom using the MacBook Pro provided in the video booth. Photos will need to be organized and sorted into individual routine albums, then uploaded to Zenfolio. The Media Coordinator will also collect the SSD drive from the performance videographer after each performance and copy the full performance video files to the MacBook Pro. Using Adobe Premiere Pro, they will cut each full performance video into individual routine videos, label each video clearly, upload the routine videos to Vimeo, and copy the Vimeo links into a shared Google Doc.
Ideal candidate:
The ideal candidate is highly organized, tech-savvy, comfortable handling large media files, and able to work efficiently under time-sensitive conditions. Experience with Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Premiere Pro is strongly preferred, but advanced editing experience is not required. This role is primarily about file management, sorting, basic video cutting, labeling, and uploading.
Requirements:
Candidates should be comfortable using a Mac, managing photo and video files, uploading to online platforms, following detailed instructions, and working independently in a live event environment.
