The Bronx, NY; New York, NY Apply Save Job We are seeking a collaborative and visually driven Cinematographer (Director of Photography) for the upcoming MFA thesis short film RUKIA, filming on location in New York City. The DP will be responsible for translating the director's vision into a cohesive visual language by managing the camera and lighting departments, overseeing technical breakdowns during pre-production, and executing precise compositions on set. Key responsibilities include collaborating on shot lists, directing the Gaffer and Camera Assistants, and ensuring the captured footage aligns with the intended post-production color grade. The ideal candidate should have proven experience with professional cinema systems, a strong narrative reel, and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced independent production environment. Applications must include a link to a current cinematography reel and a brief professional resume.
Rate:
$300 / day
