Job Description

Job Summary & Responsibilities We are seeking a motivated and creative Marketing & Communications Intern to join our team for Summer 2025. This is a hands-on opportunity for an undergraduate or graduate student interested in healthcare marketing, communications, and content creation. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in video production, graphic design, and multimedia storytelling, while also being willing to assist with administrative and event support tasks as needed. This internship is a chance to build your portfolio and gain real-world experience within a mission-driven healthcare organization.
Responsibilities:
Capture, edit, and produce short videos highlighting life at our nursing homes and healthcare facilities. Support content creation efforts, including photography, video editing, and simple graphic design for social media, internal communications, and digital campaigns. Assist in managing digital asset libraries (photos, video clips, graphics). Help coordinate logistics for marketing projects and campaigns (e.g., preparing shipping lists, mailing materials, managing inventory and ordering materials). Provide administrative support including scheduling, coordinating production timelines, and maintaining content calendars. Support onsite events as needed, including assisting with setup, photography/videography, and breakdown. Conduct basic research to support marketing initiatives and communications projects. Any additional marketing support as needed.
Qualifications:
Current undergraduate or graduate student, ideally majoring in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Graphic Design, or a related field. Proficiency with video production and editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent). Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. A collaborative attitude with a willingness to pitch in on a variety of projects, from creative to administrative. Interest in healthcare, nonprofit work, or mission-driven organizations is a plus. Pay Range $18/.50 per hour
