Job Description for videographer/ video editorVideographer / Video Editor Must be based in Cleveland or the surrounding areas. Small, Cleveland-based entertainment startup production company. Position Summary We are seeking a highly creative, organized, and driven Videographer / Video Editor to capture and produce premium content for elite athletes, entertainers, and brands. This role will be responsible for filming, editing, and delivering high-quality content across documentaries, social media, commercial campaigns, branded content, and behind-the-scenes productions. The ideal candidate is an exceptional visual storyteller who thrives in fast-paced environments, understands sports, fashion, entertainment, and lifestyle content, and can create cinematic content while meeting tight deadlines. Strong videographers increasingly combine shooting, editing, and social-first content creation into one role.
ResponsibilitiesProduction Capture high-quality video for:
Athlete training sessions Brand campaigns Editorial photo shoots Travel content Events and appearances Interviews Behind-the-scenes content Lifestyle and documentary projects Operate professional cinema and mirrorless camera systems. Set up lighting, audio, and camera equipment. Scout filming locations and prepare production plans. Travel domestically and internationally as needed. Maintain and organize all production equipment. Post-Production Edit cinematic long-form and short-form videos.
Produce content optimized for:
Instagram TikTok YouTube X Facebook Broadcast and streaming platforms Color correct and color grade footage. Mix and clean audio. Organize and archive media for future use. Deliver projects on deadline while maintaining premium production quality. Qualifications 2+ years of professional videography and editing experience Strong portfolio demonstrating cinematic storytelling Some knowledge of: Adobe Premiere Pro Adobe After Effects Adobe Photoshop Adobe Lightroom DaVinci Resolve Experience shooting with: Sony Canon RED Blackmagic Strong understanding of: Lighting Composition Audio recording Color grading Storytelling Drone experience Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to lift and transport production equipment Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and travel frequentlyPersonal Attributes Creative storyteller Detail-oriented Self-starter Strong communicator Team player Calm under pressure Highly organized Interest in sports, culture, and entertainment Compensation Competitive salary based on experience To Apply, please submit: Resume Portfolio or demo reel Links to social media or YouTube work (if applicable) Equipment list (optional but preferred
