Job Description

Position Summary:
The Commercial Director creates high‑quality commercial spots, promotional videos, digital ads, and social media content for station's advertising clients and in‑house marketing team. This role blends technical production expertise with creative storytelling to deliver visually compelling content that supports brand messaging and community engagement.
Primary Responsibilities:
Produce, Shoot, and Edit Commercial Spots for Local Businesses and Station Advertisers.
Includes but Not Limited to:
  • Coordinate with Sales and Management Team to Develop Creative and Effective Promotional Strategies
  • Write Creative Scripts and Develop Storyboards
  • Operate Cameras, Lighting, and Audio Equipment for Both In-Studio and On-Location Productions
  • Post-Production Editing of Commercials, Promotional Videos, Digital Ads, and Social Media Content
  • Create or Integrate Graphics, Logos, Lower Thirds, Animations, and Branding Elements
  • Manage Social Media Accounts on Facebook and Instagram
Maintenance Equipment:
Cameras, Lenses, Lighting Kits, Microphones, Drone, and Editing Systems. Coordinate Repairs When Needed.
Qualifications:
Required Experience
  • Experience in TV Production, Marketing, Advertising, or Related Media Fields
  • Proven Experience Managing Multiple Creative Projects and Deadlines
  • Demonstrated Leadership and Collaboration Skills Required Skills
  • Strong Video Production and Editing Skills
  • Advanced Proficiency with
Adobe Creative Suite, Including:
Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, and Audition
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
  • Experience with Digital Advertising Platforms and Social Media Management
  • Strong Organizational and Project Management Abilities
  • Proficient in Operating Both PC and Mac Computer Systems
  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to Lift and Transport Production Equipment (20-50lbs)
  • Flexible Scheduling When Needed for Productions (Early/Late Workdays) Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, or Related Field
  • Broadcast Television and Digital Advertising Experience
  • Experience with Videography, Photography, and Digital Content Creation
