Social Media Videographer/Editor

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Videographer/Editor to elevate our digital presence through compelling and engaging video content. Your expertise in videography, creative direction, and post-production will be instrumental in crafting vibrant videos that inspire, inform, and entertain. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your creative talents while working in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Workflow:

A biweekly content plan will be provided in advance. This will include a basic shot list. Your creative input is more than welcome during shooting! Filming will take place every other Tuesday at our retail store. The shoot is typically estimated to last 2-2.5 hours. Final edited files and all raw clips should be delivered within 48-72 hours after the filming date.

Responsibilities:

Film content every other Tuesday at our store location Capture footage based on a pre-planned content strategy and shot list Contribute creative ideas, shot suggestions, and overall creative direction Ensure high-quality lighting, framing, and production value Edit content to align with our brand aesthetic and social media style Deliver polished, platform-ready files optimized for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts within 48-72 hours Maintain consistent communication and turnaround times Content Output (For Awareness): Each content shoot day will result in: 6-8 in-feed posts primarily reels, with occasional carousel or static posts (to be edited and delivered within 48-72 hours) Daily story posts for the next 2 weeks (made up of raw clips obtained during the shoot which must be provided within 48-72 hours)

Equipment & Setup Requirements:

Must bring your own filming and editing equipment (camera, lenses, lighting, audio if needed, etc.) Must be comfortable filming in a retail jewelry environment with reflective surfaces, diamonds, and gold pieces Ability to properly light jewelry products is strongly preferred Having or being able to set up a clean, controlled background for jewelry/product shots is a plus (simple, luxury-style backdrops preferred). We have some equipment that might help with this (mini professional jewelry lightbox/studio), but it will be your responsibility to set it up and utilize it appropriately during filming.

Additional Required Skills:

Experience creating short-form social media content Strong video editing skills and understanding of current social media trends Ability to follow creative direction while also bringing fresh ideas to the table Strong attention to detail and consistency in visual style Reliable communication and ability to meet deadlines Ability to work on a consistent biweekly schedule

Compensation Details:
