Social Media Lead — Giant Ideas Brand Portfolio Giant Ideas Lehi, UT Job Details Full-time | Contract $40,000 - $50,000 a year 1 day ago Benefits Paid time off Employee discount Flexible schedule Qualifications YouTube TikTok Facebook Instagram Video editing Full Job Description What This Is Giant Ideas runs a portfolio of 7 brands across boxing fitness, kickboxing, barbering, and DTC product. We're looking for someone to own the social media output across all of them — shooting, editing, posting, and feeding our paid ads — working closely with brand leads and VP of Marketing. You'd be the person who shapes how each brand sounds and looks in feed. Legends Boxing has a different energy than Mayweather Boxing + Fitness, which is different again from Bootlegged Barber. The fun of this role is getting to live inside all of them and make each one feel unmistakably itself. What you'd actually do Plan and ship 20-30 posts a week across the portfolio (Reels, TikTok, Shorts, IG feed, Facebook). Shoot original video and photo in the gyms, shops, and on-location — you bring the camera and make it happen, no production crew Edit in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve (or similar) — fast cuts, captions, sound design, all of it Generate brand-aligned imagery with AI tools (Midjourney, Sora, Nano Banana, whatever's working) Write hooks that stop the scroll and stories that hold attention past the three-second mark Repurpose organic content into paid-ready cuts for Meta Own the posting cadence, voice, and rolling content calendars for each brand Watch performance weekly and adjust — what's working, what isn't, what's next What we're hoping you bring 2-4 years running social for real brands. We'd love to see accounts you've grown and hear the story behind the numbers. Camera fluency. You're comfortable with a mirrorless or DSLR. You get exposure, framing, basic lighting (natural and continuous), and capturing decent audio. You don't need a film degree — you just need to walk into a gym at 6pm and come out with footage we can use. Editing chops. Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve at a working level. Captions, cuts, color, pacing. You can turn 30 minutes of raw footage into a Reel that actually performs. Algorithm literacy. You've got a feel for how IG, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook actually distribute content in 2026 — hooks, watch time, shares, saves, comments. You can talk about what TikTok rewards vs. what Reels rewards without having to look it up. Hook craft. You can write 10 hooks for one piece of footage and at least one of them is genuinely great. Voice flexibility. You can write a Legends Boxing caption and a Bootlegged Barber caption back to back and they sound like two different people wrote them. AI image generation. Working knowledge of Midjourney or equivalent. You know how to direct an AI to make something that fits the brand, not generic slop.
