Keno Shift Supervisor Summary Maximizes the efficiency and game availability throughout the casino. Covers an assigned area collecting game cards and delivers payments; writes tickets and keeps records. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Receives, verifies, and records cash wagers of customers.

Treats customers with courtesy and respect.

Remains appropriately groomed and always wears the uniform provided.

Reports all problems and any out of the ordinary activity to the Keno Shift Supervisor.

Maintains an accurate bankroll.

Picks up and delivers game materials and money to customers in a timely manner.

Ensures that the Keno game is available to those people who choose to play throughout their assigned section of the casino.

Ensures all information is complete on the card prior to filing.

Remains aware of all casino functions and amenities so as to promote them to the guests.

Checks work schedule regularly to note any adjustments pertaining to their schedule.

Takes Keno ticket and money from customers.

Enters numbers chosen into the computer.

Hands the customer a computer printed receipt.

Closes window prior to start of game.

Pays winning customers the amount specified by the computer (according to pay out formulas).Verifies bankroll prior to starting shift (notifying supervisor of any discrepancies prior to completing transactions).Completes drawer summary at the end of their shift.

Provides game clarification to those customers who ask.

Files all wining Keno tickets.

Turns in all money causing the drawer amount to exceed $500.00.Determines what supplies are needed for the station and notifies the supervisor allowing ample time needed to order prior to completely running out.

Responsible for the enforcement of all applicable regulations, under the code of Federal Regulations, Title 31, Chapter X, as it pertains to this position. This includes, but is not limited to, observing and reporting suspicious activity, of either customers or employees, as defined in the Code of Federal Regulations.

Responsible for maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all applicable regulations under the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 31, Chapter X, by attending Title 31/Anti-Money Laundering training, provided by Casino Arizona, at least once a year or more if required by management and outlined in the Title 31 Minimum Internal Controls. Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Other Qualifications Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills. Must possess basic math, reading and writing skills. Must be able to work harmoniously with both employees and management personnel. Language Skills Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for prolonged periods of time; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to secondary smoke. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
