In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing and submitting accurate customs documentation to ensure seamless clearance of shipments across borders. Your expertise will help maintain compliance with international trade regulations, streamline supply chain processes, and support the efficient movement of freight worldwide. Duties Prepare and review customs entries, ensuring all documentation aligns with applicable regulations such as FDA (Food and Drug Administration) requirements and other international standards Collaborate with freight forwarders, carriers, and internal teams to gather necessary shipment details for customs clearance Monitor shipment statuses and communicate proactively to resolve any customs or regulatory issues that may arise during transit Maintain detailed records of customs filings, regulatory reports, and compliance documentation for audit purposes Ensure adherence to OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards in all operational activities Assist in risk management by identifying potential compliance issues and implementing corrective actions promptly Support transportation management by coordinating with fleet and logistics teams to optimize freight movement and reduce delays Requirements Proven experience in customs entry writing or related roles within logistics or supply chain environments Strong knowledge of OSHA safety protocols, FDA regulations, and international trade compliance standards Familiarity with freight operations, transportation management systems, and fleet management practices Excellent report writing skills with attention to detail for regulatory reporting and documentation accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining compliance standards Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across departments and external partners Prior experience with risk management strategies and compliance management tools is highly desirable Join us to make a meaningful impact on global trade operations!
