As a freelancer, you'll partner with newsroom teams acrossbroadcast and digital to shape compelling, audience-focused content. The idealcandidate is quick-thinking, idea-driven, and thrives under pressure whileproducing accurate, engaging work on tight timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Write and produce news content for broadcast and digital platforms Pitch, research, and develop story ideas Respond quickly and accurately to breaking news Contribute to engaging, high-impact newscasts and streaming content Collaborate across newsroom teams to support daily coverage

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience writing in a TV newsroom (required) Experience producing newscasts in a broadcast environment Strong news judgment and editorial skills Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment Familiarity with newsroom systems and digital platforms

Preferred:

Knowledge of the Bay Area news market Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Additional Requirements:
