POSITION SUMMARY
: Reporting to two Scripted Series VPs, the Coordinator will operate as a hub for targeted Department lists, grids and key documents. Duties will also extend to actively supporting senior executives in assessing submissions as the team replenishes Shondaland's development pipeline with keen awareness of the company's global brand.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Remains up-to-date and always prepared to discuss coverage on all materials, including story areas, outlines, and drafts for current projects and projects in development, as well as cuts of current projects. Coordinates and schedules notes calls, production calls, pitches, general meetings, work meals, etc. - acting as liaison across various internal departments, production, partners, agents, managers, and studio. Rolls calls and tracks dynamic phone sheets, manages calendars, updates contact lists, schedules conference room reservations, books meal reservations, handles technology updates and troubleshooting, researches and implements new organizational systems for Scripted Series VPs, and performs various administrative tasks as they arise. Logs submissions, as well as notes on said submissions. Ensures a clear and efficient operations by keeping the Scripted Series VPs aware of all relevant matters including, but not limited to: attendees' credits in advance of meetings, invitations to events and speaking engagements, coverage and status on submitted materials (writing & directing samples, specs, pitch decks, books, music, acting reels, articles, etc.), new outlines, revised drafts, anything timely and/or outstanding to be addressed. Actively oversees showrunner, writer, director, and talent lists for specific projects with both new ideas, as well as ideas submitted by the rest of the development team. Have all priority lists and grids at the ready for Content Team executives. Actively support staffing needs on a project-by-project basis by: sample reading/gridding helping find support staff/assistants for the writers' room As invited, work alongside Shondaland executives and EPs/creatives to: prepare and refine pitches and contributing to overall strategy contribute on-target ideas to project-specific writer/director/talent lists assess submissions for possible future projects, flagging material Shondaland executives need to consider actively seek out and identify potential new business through available material for scripted series with an eye to future staffing possibilities join targeted general meetings with writers, directors and executives to build relationships, earmark future potential business opportunities, continue growing Shondaland brand awareness and communicating targets for development Ensures that both active project grids and project Google Drive folders remain up to date as material goes both into NFLX and wide to internal teams Procure screeners, scripts and other pertinent reference information as needed.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
: Bachelor's degree Technical Fluency required At least 3 years' experience in the entertainment industry required. Previous work on a high-volume desk preferred. Able to work flexible hours, as needed.
