06/23/2026 Each CREC Magnet School has an Intrado Presence website under crecschools.org; school-based staff are identified as website authors and are responsible for creating, improving, and maintaining current, informative content that aligns with the school theme and CREC core values.
Website author responsibilities include:
Create (Add/Remove/Move subpages) Create Events Add News Stories Edit content within pages (with the exception of Admissions, Meal, and Health subpages) Collaborate with administration and Central Office on any website theme refresh projects Collaborate with Central Office website managers on any mutually agreed-upon website projects Website authors must: Have intermediate computer skills (hyperlinks, image resizing, CSS formatting, copy and pasting, etc.) Be comfortable with learning from and using manuals Be comfortable learning independently/troubleshooting Have available time (est.1 hour) weekly for regular management as well as time (est. 4 hours) over the summer for larger projects (staff directory and documents/forms updates, for example). Must also be responsive to emergent website updates that need timely attention, as requested by the administration and Central Office. Pay attention to detail, design, style, and layout consistency throughout the site Understand and adhere to website accessibility compliance standards Have excellent writing and proofreading skills Meet deadlines Stipend $1,120 Direct Link to Job Posting
