Estimator / Writer Automotive 2060 Biscayne Boulevard, Miami, FL 33137 From $75,000 a year - Full-time From $75,000 a year - Full-time Braman Miami is seeking an experienced Estimator (also known as a Writer) to join our luxury collision repair team. This role is responsible for accurately appraising vehicle damage and determining repair costs for insurance claim settlements, while upholding the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Air-conditioned shop Key Responsibilities Examine damaged vehicles to determine the extent of structural, body, mechanical, or interior damage Estimate labor and parts costs required to repair or replace damaged components Review repair cost estimates with the body shop manager or foreman Determine feasibility of repair versus replacement of parts such as bumpers, fenders, and doors Evaluate whether repair is practical versus payment of the vehicle's pre-accident market value Determine salvage value on total vehicle losses Prepare and complete insurance documentation, including repair estimates and recommendations Estimate costs for repainting, vehicle conversions, special-purpose builds, or customization of undamaged vehicles Collaborate with a Customer Service Representative when requested by management Qualifications & Skills 2-4 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Strong time management, organizational, and multitasking skills Problem-solving, initiative-driven mindset Comfortable working with technology and shop management systems Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred Take the
