A DREAM JOB!
Currently looking for professional Poets for the newly opened Poetry Parlor on Atlanta's beltline. Who We Are The Poetry Parlor is Atlanta's newest literary sanctuary. Nestled right on the vibrant Atlanta Beltline this is our very first physical location—designed to be a true, living home for poetry. What We Do We write custom poetry for clients on the spot. Our customers provide a word, a topic, a theme or something else on their mind and then it is up to us to write an original piece for them on the spot. Who You Are A professional poet. Ideally you've done some street busking, or writing poems for people on your own for years. If not, you are at the very least someone who takes poetry seriously -- you've published works, gone too school for writing, put yourself out there online, etc. As part of the hiring process, you will have to write a poem on the spot for me (the owner) and do a trial afternoon where you must write custom poetry on the spot for customers.
Hours Monday, Tues, Wednesday:
5-11pm
Sundays:
