Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Custom Entry Writer to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and managing customs documentation, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and facilitating smooth international shipments. Your expertise will help streamline supply chain operations, minimize risks, and uphold regulatory standards such as FDA regulations and OSHA requirements. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to global trade processes while maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance. Responsibilities Prepare accurate customs entries and documentation for international shipments in accordance with regulatory requirements, including FDA regulations where applicable. Coordinate with freight carriers, logistics providers, and supply chain partners to ensure timely delivery and clearance of goods. Review shipment details to ensure compliance with OSHA standards, transportation management protocols, and regulatory reporting obligations. Conduct risk assessments related to freight handling, transportation safety, and regulatory compliance management. Maintain detailed records of customs entries, freight documentation, and compliance reports for audit purposes. Collaborate with internal teams on report writing related to customs activities, shipment statuses, and regulatory updates. Stay informed about changes in import/export regulations, supply chain best practices, and fleet management policies to ensure ongoing compliance. Qualifications Proven experience in customs entry writing or related logistics roles within a supply chain environment. Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, FDA regulations, transportation management systems, and freight procedures. Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements and risk management strategies in international shipping. Excellent report writing skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines. Experience working within compliance management frameworks and utilizing logistics software tools. Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively across departments and external partners.
