In this role, you will serve as the vital link between customers, technicians, and insurance companies by accurately documenting vehicle repairs, estimating costs, and ensuring clear communication throughout the repair process. Your expertise will help streamline operations, enhance customer satisfaction, and support efficient auto body repair services. Duties Prepare detailed auto body repair estimates using auto estimating software and technical knowledge of vehicle damage and repairs Communicate clearly with customers about repair procedures, costs, and timelines to ensure transparency and satisfaction Collaborate with technicians to understand repair scope, including auto body repairs, paint work, frame straightening, and related services Manage documentation for insurance claims, repair orders, and parts procurement to facilitate smooth workflow Upsell additional services such as alignments, suspension repairs, tire services, or oil changes when appropriate to maximize shop revenue Maintain accurate records of all transactions including cash handling and invoicing Assist in coordinating repair schedules and ensuring timely completion of vehicle repairs Requirements Proven dealership experience or background in automotive service management is highly preferred Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive diagnostics, transmissions, brakes, shocks & struts, air brake systems, and diesel engine repair Experience in auto estimating software and service writing is essential for accurate documentation Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients Knowledge of automotive repair procedures including oil changes, wheel alignments, suspension work, tire service, and automobile sales processes Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently Prior experience with auto body repair processes or mechanic experience is a plus Join our team to leverage your automotive expertise in a lively environment that values your skills!
