Job Description

OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANY
Fox TV Stations FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network's national content.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Line produce and write for fast-paced, high story count, local, live newscasts; copy editing when needed; individual must be able to perform desktop editing for vo/sots and build graphic elements. Individual must have 3 years' experience writing and fill-in line producing for a news show in a major market with the ability to write and produce segments within a newscast; must be creative and work well under pressure. Individual must have experience leading editorial meetings, interfacing with reporters and anchors and providing editorial guidance. Individual must be able to work flexible hours and shifts. Overnight and weekend availability required. Candidate will also be required to join the WGA East union. Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience and in accordance with the applicable union collective bargaining agreement is: $47.10-$50.41 per hour.
