Job Description

Our Mission Oceanside Community Services, LLP offers specialized services for treatment of children, adolescents and adults with varying behavioral, emotional and/or developmental challenges. We are located in Southern Maine and are a for-profit behavioral health organization. The Clinic's therapeutic services offer a wide variety of therapies to the community which include individual, family and group work. We offer an integrated approach by collaborating with other external providers who offer other services such as in-home support and case management. At Oceanside Community Services, LLP we promote the well-being of the individuals and families we serve by supporting, integrating and collaborating with children and families. We do so by removing barriers to services and offering quality care through evidence based practice, risk management and collaborative efforts. We specialize in treatment of children, adolescents and adults with varying behavioral and emotional challenges. We also strive toward working collaboratively with individuals with developmental challenges. Medical Insurance Dental insurance Vision Insurance 401(k) Scope of the Role As a Part-Time Neuro Writer, you ensure neuropsychological documentation is clear, complete, and clinically usable—supporting accurate reporting and efficient downstream review. You will assemble and edit social histories from referrals, questionnaires, and interview notes; validate supporting records; coordinate weekly document intake and tracker readiness; and verify testing dates and billing alignment across tracking systems, researching and flagging discrepancies for correction. You will also contribute to data integrity through routine audits and provide backup support to the Neuropsychological Evaluation Report Administrator as needed.
Required qualifications/skills:
High school diploma required; degree preferred Experience in behavioral health or clinical documentation preferred Strong writing/editing skills with exceptional attention to detail Organized, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Commitment to HIPAA compliance and confidentiality How Your Day Flows Your Monday-Friday rhythm is structured and predictable, with work-from-home flexibility. You begin by checking the tracker and confirming what arrived from the prior week, then downloading and organizing the current set so nothing is missed. Midday is spent building polished narratives from multiple sources, pausing to cross-check dates, measures, and questionnaire completion against the systems of record. As questions surface, you send concise notes to clinical, administrative, or billing partners and log status updates so the team can move reports forward. You wrap up by reconciling any open items, preparing materials for the next handoff, and stepping in on overflow tasks to keep feedback and reporting timelines on track.
